For the past decade crimp spray pumps have become extremely popular for body sprays, eyeglass cleaners, breath sprays, room and car air fresheners, vitamins, disinfectants and hundreds of other products requiring a fine misting delivery. These tamper proof pumps are a simple, cost effective alternative to screw-on bottles and offer a premium look for a high end product. These pumps can be crimped onto bottles by hand or by a specialized lab style crimping machine.

Crop rollers (also called crimpers) are 16-inch rolling steel drums with blunt, steel blades that are tractor pulled or front mounted. As the crimper rolls through a cover crop it “crimps” or injures plant stems every 7 inches. Rolling a cover crop is often done after planting corn or soybeans to mechanically terminate the crops and reduce herbicide resistance. Rolling a cover crop at an angle improves soil cover and reduces weed germination. It also helps conserve soil moisture, decreases hot summer soil temperatures, and adds organic matter.
